Wing Tales

Inspired by the business models of social network tools like Facebook and myspace and the open collaboration efforts of Open source projects like Wikipedia, and my own love of speaking crap - I am trying something new which, to the best of my knowledge, has never been tried before - this is it.

Wing Tales. In essence the concept is an open source community that contributes and finishes stories that have been started, hence a new concept in story telling. So with all things new, there have to be some rules,

  1. Carry on the story from the previous comment that was started
  2. You are allowed to add a maximum of one paragraph (no more than 10 sentences)
  3. Leave your contribution open ended
  4. All contributions will be done with no malice intended (no racism, prejudice, etc) and any story additions that do so will be removed
  5. Though not enforced, subscribing to the blog would be encouraged to build a community
  6. Wingnuts will occasionally intervene and either close the story or change the direction
  7. You can email me on craig@wingnuts.co.za to suggest new story lines

Again, I must say that is a completely new idea and as such may fail miserably! But I think thats quite a cool idea and hence would ask you to contribute. I will leave a list of stories here (check back often for new stories) and the corresponding links below. If you would like to comment on this idea please do so here.
